Well it is that time of the year again. Christmas is just around the corner.

First I want to thank all of you for supporting the MMRG without you there would not be an MMRG.  Also, we all owe a big thanks to our technical committee.

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving and are dieting in order to get ready for Christmas.

December 5, 2009 MMRG had their annual board meeting and officer election.

I sent out E-Mails to all members inviting them to this meeting, however only officers and board members came.

From Phil Hazlett WA7UID Treasurer

Dear Fellow Hams

My name is Phil Hazlett WA7UID

I am the Treasurer of the Mingus Mountain Repeater Group. Have been for about six or so years.  Before that I was President, before that Vice President and before that chief flunky of building buildings for the mountain top.

So it pays to start at the bottom and work up to all the good benefits associated with having held so many positions.

Benefits are many, prestige is awesome, good company is the best. You too can become a member of the group and enjoy the before mentioned.

This is one of the older organizations in Arizona starting out about 1974 which began with Oliver Grieves and some older Hams.  Ted Samplin KA7RGF, a current member’s father, was one of the first hams involved with the repeater.

We have been in operation for thirty five years.

Jack Shaw N7VFT is in the John C. Lincoln Hospital and doing well. If you wish to send a get well to his wife,  Jack’s email address is 54j@cox.net .
